MY WHY

Fitness has always been important to Willi, but a young family and corporate career often derailed his consistency. It was the immersion into the Outdoor Industry that tied in with the start of Pure Hunting that gave him the direction, purpose and consistency he needed for it to truly become a lifestyle. He shows how his fitness came in to play on a few hunts through the years.

REDEMPTION

Join Willi and Chris as they archery hunt NM for elk. After Willi makes a poor shot on a bull early in the hunt, he and Chris discovered what happened. Knowing the shot he made was not lethal as they had seen the bull, rutting and bugling days later, he continued to hunt, hoping for redemption before the hunt ended.

MONTANA WALL TENT SPOT & STALK TURKEY

Follow Willi as hunts the Missouri Breaks of Montana for Mirriam’s Turkeys. This has been an annual hunt for over 10 years as Willi and his friends set up their Wall Tent Turkey Camp. This was a spot and stalk turkey hunt at it’s finest and as non-traditional as it gets.

OHIO BUCK ON THE 1st HOLE

Join Willi as he bow hunts an Ohio golf course for whitetails. Willi and his friends, Tom, Nick and Jason play golf and make a plan for the location of the stands Willi will be hunting.

WILLI’S NEW MEXICO THUNDER BULL 

Follow Willi and Chris as they bow hunt New Mexico elk. Willi and Chris have hunted this same place the previous two years. Those 2 years, they hunted 5 days. They extended this year’s hunt to 7 days hoping the increase their success. They also invited Nick Ventura and his dad, Tony to join them. This is part 1 of 2 of this hunt.

CHRIS’ NEW MEXICO HAIL MARY BULL

Follow Willi and Chris as they bow hunt New Mexico elk. Willi and Chris have hunted this same place the previous two years. Those 2 years, they hunted 5 days. They extended this year’s hunt to 7 days hoping the increase their success. Willi killed on day 5 and they are hoping Chris can kill his with 2 days to go. This is part 2 of 2 of this hunt.

MONTANA’S HIGH BEAM

Join Willi as he hunts his Montana whitetail deer lease for the second year. Last year he shot a great mature buck and he is hoping for the same results. The weather was challenging and once he set his sights on “High Beam”, he decided that was the deer he was after. Short film series, “Montana’s High Beam”

IOWA TURKEYS, .410’S & REAPERS

Willi and his friend Tom Petry head to Iowa to hunt turkeys for the first time. There are plenty of birds and it’s the first season of the year. On paper is should be a good hunt. They’re hunting with friends they hunted deer with the prior year and get to help Cody on his reaper hunt and get to watch their daughter kill her first bird ever with a .410. A Pure Hunting short film.

PATAGONIA’S ROAR

Join Willi and he and good friend Jason Matzinger hunt wild, true free-range Red Stag during the roar in Patagonia. They hunted with Joaquin in 2017 in Argentina and have stayed in touch. As Joaquin shared the beauty and area quality of the stags in the area, they had to make this bucket list hunt a reality.
